Synopsis

The Australian outback is once again the hunting ground for hapless tourists who become the prey of the serial killer, Mick Taylor (John Jarratt).

Location notes:

Mick Taylor's lair is located near Wolfe Creek meteorite crater in the Kimberley region of Western Australia; however, the film is shot in South Australia and the cellar that plays Mick's dungeon is located in Burra. It is not possible to give an accurate geo-reference for Mick's lair, the location of which remains a mystery in the narrative.

Shooting Locations

Unicorn Brewery Cellars, Burra, Clare Valley, South Australia

Unicorn Brewery Cellars is located at Lot 4, Bridge Street, Burra. Visitors can tour the cellar by purchasing a heritage passport and leaving a deposit. Obtain the key from the Burra Visitor Information Centre, 2 Market square, Burra SA 5417.

Location notes:

The story plays out in an unnamed location in the Australian outback, somewhere near Wolfe Creek meteorite crater in the Kimberley. The film was shot in South Australia, in the Flinders Ranges.

Shooting Locations

Upalinna Station, near Hawker, Flinders and Outback, South Australia

Wolfe Creek 2 was filmed in the Flinders Ranges on Upalinna Station, which is near Wilpena Creek in Wilpena Pound.

The Flinders Ranges is Australia's largest mountain range.
